QUICK QUICK QUICK!
VIP TICKETS ARE NOW OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT!!!
And seating tickets are selling much quicker than we anticipated... make sure you get yours ASAP so you're not disappointed! Tickets will be on sale in the union foyer all day tomorrow and 10-3 on Thursday. With our gorgeous models, amazing acts and top secret show surprises you really would be an idiot to miss out!

After Party...
The official Leeds Rag Fashion Show 2011 after party will be held at Tequila - expect the standard wonderfully cheap drinks, an excellent party atmosphere and beautiful models swanning about all over the place. What more could you want on a night out? Remember that if you buy your Tequila after party tickets from the RAG Fashion Show table in the union, money from each ticket goes to our brilliant charities - Action for Children and Yorkshire Cancer Centre.

We are love-love-loving...
LONDON FASHION WEEK: The capital city is so excited about the RAG Fashion Show 2011 that they went ahead and organised a couple of shows at Somerset House in the build up... We have particularly enjoyed Georgia Hardinge, Matthew Williamson and John Rocha so far - and we can't wait to see what Burberry Prorsum and Giles have in store for us this afternoon! The trends seem to be leather, leather, leather, a continuation of S/S '11's colour pop and plenty of sheer panelling - divine.
DANCE EXPOSE: Their show last week was undeniably immense and we are proud to announce that they will playing a part in our very own extravaganza this Thursday... definitely not to be missed!

!NEWS FLASH!
The RAG Fashion Show 2011 is literally days away and we could not be more excited! The committee, models and support team have all been working incredibly hard to make sure that we bring you nothing short of an absolutely astounding show!
On Saturday two of our gorgeous charitable models ran 50km in an unbelievable 5 hours... thats more than a marathon!!! And all to raise money for our two wonderful charities, Yorkshire Cancer Centre and Action for Children. A fantastic effort and a guarantee that they will be looking buff come Thursday night (and maybe still feeling a bit sore!)
Don't forget that we will be selling tickets in the Union everyday this week - its more expensive to pay on the door so buy your ticket in advance! MODEL LAUNCH PARTY
The RAG Fashion Show Committee and Models turned out in their masses to celebrate at the Model Launch Party on Monday at Warehouse. There was a lot of dancing, a fair amount of drinking and plenty of good looking people - what more could you want from a night out? To get in on the action join us at our next event - The Leeds Fashion Show AUCTION OF PROMISES, kicking off at 7.30pm at the Terrace on Thursday 10th February. You could bag yourself a whole host of prizes, ranging from a snowboard to a lifetime Tequila ticket to a hot date with a model... and whats better, its 2-4-1 cocktails all night long!

PUB QUIZ
Do you like to think of yourself as a bit of a brainbox? Is your general knowledge unrivalled? Are you the competitive type who loves to win? If so, get yourself down to Hyde Park Social on Sunday for our very own RAG Fashion Show pub quiz!!! Kicking off at 7.30pm, with rounds on fashion, sport, general knowledge and music, amongst others, this is set to be a fun night! Enter in teams of 4/5 with the chance to win a VIP party at The Elbow Room, including a free case of Sol and private use of the VIP room which houses it's own pool table, Nintendo Wii and 42" flat screen TV! You will also have the chance to win some fab prizes in the raffle, and who knows, you might score yourself a model!

WELCOME!
Hi Everyone!
Welcome to our Fashion Show 2011 BLOG! We can confirm that it is exactly 46 DAYS until SHOW DAY!!! Wow – that really isn’t very long. We just pulled priceless faces, well Cat’s was priceless so I am sure, from her laugh, that mine was too!
So, with just 46 days to go we are in full swing with the promo video being shot in 2 weeks, our photoshoot taking place in a few days and everyone on the committee running round like ‘controlled’ headless chickens! Our social lives have been reduced to our RAG FASHION SHOW COMMITTEE thread on facebook – WE LOVE IT!
What should you expect from this year’s show??? A night of pure entertainment, filled with fashion, dance, and music! Make sure you take some time to look at our busy calendar – We hope to see you at our Model Launch Party in Warehouse on Monday 31st January – guestlist for everyone at a reduced price of £4 with drinks deals and £1 of every ticket sold going to our charities. Just say our name, RAG FASHION SHOW 2011! Our Pub Quiz Night on Sunday 23rd January at Hyde Park Social Club and our Ladies Night on Tuesday 1st February and our Auction of Promises on Thursday 10th February are not to be missed.
Oh, and, don’t forget to buy roses for that special someone in the lead up to Valentine’s Day in the foyer of the union!
With such a busy calendar we mustn’t forget our reasons for putting on the show and every event leading up to it. This year we are supporting two fantastic charities: Yorkshire Cancer Centre and Action for Children. We decided to choose one local and one national charity, however, both charities do work on a local scale. More information on these charites can be found on our snazzy website along with information about the show, our sponsors, the shops involved, and our own Leeds University designers.
